Implementing the peak plan to ensure traffic order and safety during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, working groups and Traffic Police Teams of the Traffic Police Department, Hanoi Police have arranged forces to patrol and control routes around bus stations, train stations, and routes leading to the gateways of the capital to carry out traffic flow, detect and handle violations... to avoid congestion and congestion on the routes.
Regarding traffic flow during the days before Tet, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department has proactively grasped the situation, forecasted potential situations that could cause congestion on the route and in the unit's area, proactively deployed forces and vehicles, and coordinated with functional forces to organize on-duty, flow, and guide traffic to serve people's smooth and safe travel.

In addition, the traffic police force will resolutely patrol, control and handle violations throughout Tet to ensure traffic order and safety, support people to travel during Tet holiday, and return to work in the first days of the new year.
During the days before Tet, traffic increased dramatically. Representatives of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department recommended that people who need to travel by bus to their hometown should book tickets at bus stations or on the bus station's information page according to regulations. When arriving and departing, they must go to the station to buy tickets and comply with the arrangements of the bus station and bus company management board according to regulations.
"People should not arbitrarily catch a bus along the road or outside the bus station. This will help ensure traffic order and safety, and gradually form a sense of self-consciousness in complying with the law when participating in traffic," a representative of the Traffic Police Department emphasized.
In addition, the representative of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department also advised everyone to strictly follow traffic regulations, especially "if you drink alcohol, do not drive"; drive in the correct lane, on the right part of the road, obey traffic lights, and obey the commands of traffic commanders.

Speaking further with reporters, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that to ensure traffic safety during the 2024 Lunar New Year, the Traffic Police Department recommends that people strictly comply with the provisions of the law on traffic order and safety.
Specifically, people need to drive at the right speed, in the right lane, keep a safe distance, give way, and help each other in traffic situations on the road. Absolutely do not drive when using alcohol or beer.
"People should not get on vehicles when they are crowded and have enough passengers, to prevent vehicles from carrying more people than the prescribed number, causing traffic safety problems. In addition, people also need to pay attention when moving on the road, to avoid possible traffic collisions," informed a representative of the Traffic Police Department.
