These days, many students from colleges and universities in the province gathered at Thai Binh College of Culture and Arts to practice their performances to participate in the cultural and artistic exchange program between colleges and universities of Thai Binh and Korea. The practice atmosphere is always lively, the performances are elaborately and grandly staged and are expected to leave a deep impression on the public.

Every day at 5:00 p.m., after completing their studies in the lecture hall, Le Viet Bach, a student of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and his friends gather at Thai Binh College of Culture and Arts to practice their performances in preparation for the Thai Binh - Korea student exchange program. Viet Bach shared: Being able to participate in the program is a source of pride for me as well as for the students of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy. We are practicing hard every day to complete our performance well with the desire to convey the beauty of Vietnamese culture to our Korean friends.
Like Le Viet Bach, nearly 200 students from colleges and universities in the province who were selected to participate in the program all felt excited, forgot their fatigue, and practiced enthusiastically. Nguyen Phuong Thuy, a student at Thai Binh College of Culture and Arts, said: We have prepared many performances to participate in the exchange and practice diligently every day with the desire to have the most complete performance. In the exchange program, we chose a combination of musical pieces with themes praising the beauty of our homeland and country and were staged so that international friends know that Thai Binh is an extremely peaceful and beautiful land. Eager to practice and wait for the performance day, we did not feel tired or exhausted even though we had to practice continuously for 2 hours from 5-7 pm every day.

Not only the students, but also the teachers who were assigned to stage and rehearse the performances for the exchange program also put their heart and soul into their work. Each performance was staged with all their heart and soul and conveyed many wishes of the teachers.
Mr. Cao Quang Huy, lecturer of traditional musical instruments, Faculty of Music and Theatre, Thai Binh College of Culture and Arts shared: It is an honor to be selected by the province to participate in the cultural exchange program between Thai Binh and Korea students, so both teachers and students of the school are very excited, the practice atmosphere is enthusiastic. I myself was assigned to design, arrange, and conduct the traditional musical instrument orchestra with a choir, including the very famous Korean folk melodies Ohnara and Arirang. Through these performances, teachers and students of the school want to convey their respect for Korean culture, while honoring the traditional culture of the two peoples.

It is known that in the cultural exchange program between Thai Binh students and Korean students, Thai Binh College of Culture and Arts presided over and coordinated with colleges and universities in the province to stage 10 music and dance performances. The theme throughout the performances was to praise the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, the country and spread the unique traditional cultural values of the province with smooth and soulful Cheo melodies.
Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien, Vice Principal in charge of Thai Binh College of Culture and Arts, said: To create cultural connection and exchange, we have created a concert with a mix of Vietnamese and Korean folk songs; in addition, there are many other special dance and singing performances expressing the friendship between the two countries. In particular, we have created a Cheo singing performance and a performance of traditional musical instruments with 40 musicians, hoping to fully convey the traditional cultural values of Thai Binh and the Vietnamese people to international friends. The performances are elaborately staged, ensuring high artistry, bringing a joyful atmosphere, inspiring the aspirations of the young generation to contribute to building the homeland and the country to develop more and more.
