Educating cultural lifestyle on cyberspace for youth in the capital

(HNMO) - That is the content stated in Plan No. 148/KH-UBND of the Hanoi People's Committee on implementing Decision No. 1142/QD-LDTBXH dated November 25, 2022 of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs approving the Program "Educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, cultural lifestyle for youth, teenagers, and children on cyberspace for the period 2022-2030" in the field of vocational education in the city.

Accordingly, based on the above decision of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the plan clearly states the purpose, requirements, targets and solutions to improve the effectiveness of education on revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle in cyberspace, thereby contributing to building a young generation with revolutionary ideals, strong will, patriotism, knowledge, culture, awareness of law compliance, responsibility to the community, dreams, ambitions, aspirations and skills for international integration in the digital age.

In addition, forming and developing skills to identify, process, and master information and technical tools and means in activities of educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyles on cyberspace; proactively screening and identifying "bad" and "toxic" information, receiving positive information on cyberspace, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile viewpoints for vocational education students, actively contributing to realizing the aspiration of developing a prosperous and happy country in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.

Notably, the city sets a goal that in the 2023-2025 period, over 90% of vocational students will be informed and actively implement the Code of Conduct on social networks; over 80% of newly admitted vocational students will be taught political theory on the Electronic Information Portal, and political theory for union members; over 80% of staff working with students in vocational education institutions will be trained to update new knowledge, improve qualifications, skills, expertise, and methods of propaganda, education, and combat in cyberspace.

The city also strives to have over 70% of vocational education institutions develop documents and teach students skills to adapt and use cyberspace safely, positively and effectively.
