On May 15, EVNNPC informed that in order to implement the electricity price adjustment effective from May 4, the Corporation has directed units to quickly carry out the work of finalizing meter readings on May 4 according to the set schedule, ensuring publicity, transparency, and compliance with regulations.
In April 2023, EVNNPC's commercial electricity reached 7.016 billion kWh (down 0.36% over the same period), accumulated in the first 4 months of 2023 reached 26.357 billion kWh (up 1.39% over the same period) and reached 29.19% of the 2023 plan assigned by EVN (90.3 billion kWh).
The power loss rate in April reached 3.46%, the cumulative rate in the first 4 months reached 4.02%, down 0.49% compared to the same period in 2022. The Corporation has received and resolved power supply for 219 medium-voltage customers, the average time to resolve procedures of the electricity industry is 3.63 days. The rate of providing electricity services electronically by the Corporation reached 99.94% in April, and 99.96% in the first 4 months. The rate of customers paying electricity bills without using cash by the end of April reached 85.11%, exceeding 5.84% compared to the target assigned by EVN in 2023; revenue through non-cash payment channels reached 96.34%.
By the end of April, 2,368/2,423 customers using over 3 million kWh had signed a load adjustment (DR) agreement, accounting for 97.73%, and 1,382/1,410 customers using under 3 million kWh had signed a DR agreement, accounting for 98.01%.
Regarding construction investment, the Corporation has started 2 projects, energized 5 projects, accumulated 4 months started 10 projects and energized 12 projects.
Entering May 2023, in order to cope with the difficulties in operating the national power system, EVNNPC hopes to receive the sharing and active cooperation of people and electricity customers through thoroughly using electricity economically, especially during peak hours at noon and in the evening. Specifically, noon from 11:30 to 14:30, evening from 20:00 to 22:00. At the same time, pay attention to the reasonable use of air conditioning (set at 26-27 degrees or higher, use in combination with fans) and pay attention not to use many high-capacity electrical devices at the same time.
The National Power System Control Center and power units in the Northern region will plan electricity supply for each month, especially during peak hot months (from May to August), and at the same time, inform major customers early to proactively adjust production activities.
