Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND109/liter, down to VND19,343/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND79/liter, down to VND20,528/liter.
Diesel 0.05S price: Decreased by 64 VND/liter, down to 18,509 VND/liter; Kerosene decreased by 67 VND/liter, down to 18,921 VND/liter. In particular, fuel oil 180CST 3.5S price increased by 5 VND/kg, at 16,014 VND/kg.
In this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut oil.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on November 14, 2024 and the adjustment period on November 21, 2024 is: 77.578 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (down 0.676 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.86%); 83.646 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 0.482 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.57%); 88.612 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 0.456 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.51%); 88.202 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 0.436 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.49%); 450.048 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 0.156 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 0.03%).
On the world market at 6:00 a.m. on November 21, Brent oil price decreased by 0.19 USD, equivalent to 0.26%, to 73.12 USD/barrel. WTI oil price decreased by 0.52 USD, equivalent to 0.75%, to 68.87 USD/barrel.

In this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continued not to set aside or use the petrol price stabilization fund for any products.
Since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 22 times and decreased 24 times. Oil prices have increased 20 times and decreased 26 times. The joint ministries have not yet allocated or established a Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund, similar to previous management periods. By the end of the second quarter, this fund had more than 6,000 billion VND, a decrease of about 600 billion compared to the end of 2023, according to the Ministry of Finance.
