Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND292/liter, down to VND19,452/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND247/liter, down to VND20,607/liter.
Diesel 0.05S price: Decreased by 344 VND/liter, down to 18,573 VND/liter; Kerosene decreased by 306 VND/liter, down to 18,988 VND/liter; Mazut 180CST 3.5S decreased by 385 VND/kg, down to 16,009 VND/kg.
In this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut oil.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on November 7, 2024 and the adjustment period on November 14, 2024 is: 78.254 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (down 1.716 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.15%); 84.128 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 1.372 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.60%); 89.068 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 1.842 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.03%); 88.638 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 2.055 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.27%); 450,204 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 14,151 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 3.05%).
At 6:00 a.m. on November 14, WTI oil price increased by 0.33 USD, equivalent to 0.48%, to 68.1 USD/barrel. Brent oil price increased by 0.39 USD, equivalent to 0.54%, to 72.28 USD/barrel.
Oil prices rebounded on short covering a day after prices fell to near two-week lows on OPEC’s forecast for lower demand, but crude’s gains were limited as the dollar hit a seven-month high.
U.S. and global oil production are both expected to rise to record highs this year slightly more than previously forecast, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said Wednesday.
US oil production is now expected to average 13.23 million barrels per day this year, and global production is expected to reach 102.6 million barrels per day.
The International Energy Agency, whose demand growth forecasts are much lower than OPEC's, is expected to release updated estimates on Thursday.
In the most recent adjustment period (November 7), the prices of all types of gasoline and oil (except fuel oil) were adjusted up by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline was adjusted up by 340 VND/liter, the selling price is 19,740 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 350 VND/liter, the selling price is 20,850 VND/liter.
Similarly, diesel price was adjusted up sharply by 770 VND/liter, selling price is 18,910 VND/liter. Kerosene price increased by 460 VND/liter, price is 19,290 VND/liter.
In this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut oil.
Recently, the Ministry of Finance also proposed to continue applying the environmental protection tax rate on gasoline at VND2,000/liter; jet fuel, diesel oil, fuel oil, lubricants at VND1,000/liter; grease at VND1,000/kg... in 2025.
From 2026, environmental protection tax is expected to return to the ceiling level, according to regulations: gasoline (except ethanol) is 4,000 VND/liter; jet fuel is 3,000 VND/liter; diesel, fuel oil, lubricants are 2,000 VND/liter; kerosene is 1,000 VND/liter; grease is 2,000 VND/kg.
