At 6:00 a.m. on October 27, Brent oil price was at 75.9 USD/barrel, up 2.25%, equivalent to an increase of 1.67 USD/barrel.

WTI oil price is at 71.69 USD/barrel, up 2.27%, equivalent to an increase of 1.59 USD/barrel.

Recently, the world financial market has been experiencing strong fluctuations due to the influence of complex political factors. This is making investors extremely cautious and waiting for the latest developments from important events in the US and Japanese elections and interest rate decisions of major central banks.

Meanwhile, the escalating geopolitical conflict between Iran and Israel has rattled global markets, with concerns growing about the potential impact on gold and oil prices. Israel’s retaliatory airstrikes on Iran late Thursday added to geopolitical risks, raising fears of further escalation.

“Israeli airstrikes, accompanied by explosions in Syria and attacks on targets in Lebanon, have also raised concerns about disruptions in oil supplies,” global financial experts said.

The complicated developments that are happening have caused world oil prices to fluctuate.

This is also the basis for experts to predict that oil prices will continue to fluctuate in the coming time.

Domestic gasoline prices

In the operating period on October 24, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 38 VND/liter, not higher than 19,692 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased by 68 VND/liter, not higher than 20,894 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, diesel price also decreased by 264 VND/liter, to 18,057 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 57 VND/liter, not higher than 18,570 VND/liter. Fuel oil price alone increased by 139 VND/kg, not higher than 16,229 VND/kg.

In this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continued not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

Since the beginning of 2024, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 42 adjustment sessions, including 21 decrease sessions, 17 increase sessions and 5 opposite sessions.
