Gia Vien launched propaganda to mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance for universal health insurance

On May 7, the Steering Committee for the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in Gia Vien district launched a campaign to propagate and mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance on the occasion of the National Social Insurance Month.

Launching at the launching ceremony, the leaders of Gia Vien district affirmed: In recent times, local Party committees and authorities in the district have always paid attention to directing the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies, contributing to ensuring social security in the area.

In 2023, the whole district had 18,749 workers participating in social insurance, an increase of 1,607 people compared to 2022; 116,072 people participating in health insurance, an increase of 1,773 people compared to 2022. That affirms that the social insurance and health insurance policies have widely spread humanistic values and superiority, contributing to stabilizing the lives of workers and people, ensuring social security in the locality.

In order to propagate and encourage people to participate in social insurance and health insurance, towards the goal of social insurance for all workers and universal health insurance, the Steering Committee for implementing social insurance and health insurance policies of the district organized a high-point communication campaign to mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance on the occasion of the Universal Social Insurance Month.

At the same time, it is recommended that communes, towns, and units in the district seriously implement the targets on developing participants in voluntary health insurance and social insurance according to the Plan of the Steering Committee for implementing social insurance and health insurance policies in the district; deploy solutions, actively propagate and disseminate policies and benefits of social insurance and health insurance participants, strive to exceed the targets assigned by the District People's Committee on developing participants in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance...

On this occasion, leaders of the provincial Social Insurance and Gia Vien District Social Insurance presented social insurance books and gifts to 10 people participating in voluntary social insurance in Gia Phu commune; the Steering Committee for implementing social insurance and health insurance policies of the district presented gifts to 3 collection staff with good achievements.

After the launching ceremony, there will be direct communication activities at markets, residential areas and households about voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies.
