ANTD.VN - After many days of skyrocketing, the world gold price has turned around and plummeted. The domestic SJC gold price and gold ring price have also turned around and dropped by half a million VND per tael.

Along with SJC gold, gold rings also fell today with a decrease of 300-500 thousand VND/tael. Specifically, the price of SJC 999.9 gold was listed at 87.4 million VND/tael for buying and 88.90 million VND/tael for selling.
DOJI listed the buying and selling prices at 88.25 million VND/tael and 89.25 million VND/tael, an increase of 50,000 VND in both directions compared to early this morning.
The buying and selling prices of PNJ brand gold rings are anchored at VND 88.4 million/tael and VND 89.5 million/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of plain round rings at 88.23 million VND/tael for buying and 89.23 million VND/tael for selling. Phu Quy SJC is buying gold rings at 88.00 million VND/tael and selling at 89.20 million VND/tael.
Domestic gold prices fell amid a plunge in global gold prices last night, Vietnam time. Spot gold is currently trading around $2,750 an ounce, down nearly $40 during the session. Gold futures last traded at $2,756.9 an ounce, down nearly $42.
Gold prices lost some of their momentum after a sharp rally, but safe-haven demand helped the precious metal post its fourth straight monthly gain.
Some experts believe that gold may enter a consolidation phase due to profit-taking pressure amid a series of events that could impact the direction of gold ahead, such as the US election and the meeting of the US Federal Reserve (Fed).
However, the decline in gold prices will not be too deep as the market is still in “buy the dip” mode. Gold and the US dollar are acting together as safe havens, so the strength of the US dollar will not affect gold prices too much.
