999.9 gold ring price hits all-time high

(NLDO) – The world gold price hitting a new peak has pushed the price of 999.9 gold rings to its highest level ever.

At 9:00 a.m. on October 18, SJC Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at VND84 million/tael and the selling price at VND86 million/tael, stable compared to yesterday and maintaining the highest level in the past few months. This is also the selling price of commercial banks such as Vietcombank, BIDV, Agribank and VietinBank.

Meanwhile, the price of 999.9 gold rings and jewelry gold continued to surge, setting new highs. SJC Company traded gold rings at VND83.4 million/tael for purchase and VND83.5 million/tael for sale. The difference between buying and selling prices narrowed to VND1.1 million/tael.

PNJ Company pushed the price of gold rings to a higher level, around 83.75 million VND/tael for buying, 84.75 million VND/tael for selling.

At Bao Tin Minh Chau Gold Company, the price of 999.9 gold rings increased dramatically to nearly 85 million VND/tael, buying at 83.98 million VND/tael, selling at 84.98 million VND/tael.

These prices increased by more than 500,000 VND per tael compared to yesterday. This is the highest increase in the price of gold rings ever, breaking all previous peaks.

Gold price today increased shockingly

The buying price of 999.9 gold rings at some businesses is almost equal to the buying price of SJC gold bars.

Domestic gold prices have increased dramatically while world prices have not stopped jumping. On the international market, the precious metal was traded at 2,707 USD/ounce at 9:00 a.m. Vietnam time, for the first time in history, surpassing 2,700 USD/ounce after increasing by about 25 USD/ounce compared to the previous session.

The development of international gold prices has surprised many investors and analysts. Previously, some comments said that gold prices could adjust in the short term to the 2,600 USD/ounce area after having increased continuously for a long time. The strong recovery of the USD in the international market also put pressure on gold prices to decrease in the short term. However, in just the last 3 sessions, gold prices have regained their strength and then strongly broke through the 2,700 USD/ounce area.
