This morning, February 4, the price of SJC gold bars was simultaneously pushed up to the highest level of the year by SJC, PNJ, and DOJI companies.
SJC Company bought SJC gold bars for 88.1 million VND/tael and sold for 90.6 million VND/tael - an increase of 800,000 VND compared to the end of yesterday.
PNJ Company bought gold bars at 87.8 million VND/tael and sold at 90.3 million VND/tael. In just 2 days, the price of gold bars increased by nearly 2 million VND/tael.
The price of gold bars began to have a large gap between businesses. The difference in buying and selling prices also widened to 2.5 million VND/tael in the context of strong fluctuations in the price of precious metals.
Gold price continuously increases shockingly
ACB, Eximbank, and Sacombank banks sell gold bars at prices ranging from VND89.5 million to VND90 million per tael.
The price of SJC gold bars has been continuously increasing since Tet until now, increasing by several million VND per tael and is heading towards the historical peak of 92.4 million VND/tael set last year.
Similarly, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds continued to skyrocket. SJC Company listed the buying price at VND88.1 million/tael, selling price at VND90.1 million/tael - an increase of VND600,000. In 2 days, the price of gold rings increased by a total of about VND1.3 million/tael.
The price of gold rings also varies between brands and businesses. Plain round rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau were bought for up to 88.5 million VND/tael, sold at a historical peak of 90.55 million VND/tael - equal to the price of SJC gold bars.
Domestic gold prices have not stopped rising sharply right after the Tet holiday, in the context of world gold prices reaching an all-time high.
The price of precious metals on the international market is currently trading at 2,821 USD/ounce, up about 20 USD/ounce compared to the morning of February 3. Last night, there was a time when the price of gold increased to 2,830 USD/ounce.
The price of this precious metal is benefiting from fluctuations related to the US tax policy applied to some countries such as Canada and Mexico. The constant changes in policies have made investors worried about the impact on the global economy and seek gold as a safe haven.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 86.6 million VND/tael.
