(NLDO) – Domestic gold prices this morning, January 21, suddenly increased sharply again, far exceeding the 87 million VND/tael mark.
This morning, January 21, SJC Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at 85.2 million VND/tael and the selling price at 87.2 million VND/tael - an increase of 500,000 VND compared to yesterday.
PNJ Company and banks ACB, Sacombank, Eximbank also simultaneously increased the selling price of SJC gold bars to over 87 million VND/tael. In the buying direction, the price of SJC gold bars was different. In which, some banks such as ACB strongly increased the buying price to 85.7 million VND/tael; Mi Hong Company increased to 86 million VND/tael.
Similarly, the price of gold rings and jewelry of all kinds also increased again. SJC Company bought gold rings at 85 million VND/tael and sold at 86.8 million VND/tael - an increase of 700,000 VND compared to yesterday.
The price of 99.99 gold rings varies between companies. Some companies like PNJ sell gold rings at a lower price, around 86.5 million VND; while Mi Hong sells at 86.7 million VND/tael.
Domestic gold prices have been fluctuating strongly in recent days, following the ups and downs of world gold prices. In the international market, today's gold price jumped to 2,724 USD/ounce, up 24 USD compared to the previous session.
Precious metal prices on the international market skyrocketed amid a sharp decline in the US dollar. The US dollar index on the international market fell to nearly 108 points, down sharply from 109 points in the previous session.
Not only gold, the US dollar and other financial assets are also fluctuating due to the influence of new policies of US President Donald Trump after he returned to the White House.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 83.8 million VND/tael.
