The price of 9999 gold rings at Doji closed the session at 97.2-99.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 500 thousand VND per tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price.
This afternoon, the world gold price increased quite strongly. At 2:43 p.m. today (March 27, Vietnam time), the world spot gold price was at 3,037.7 USD/ounce, up 14 USD/ounce compared to early this morning.
Following the same trend, domestic gold prices this afternoon were also adjusted up.
The price of SJC 9999 gold early this afternoon was adjusted up 500 thousand VND/tael for buying and 300 thousand VND/tael more expensive for selling compared to early this morning, trading at 97.2-98.7 million VND/tael (buying - selling).
At 3:22 p.m., the price of SJC 9999 gold increased by 200,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling prices, listed at 97.4-98.9 million VND/tael (buying - selling).
Gold ring prices this afternoon were also adjusted up by brands.
At 3:22 p.m. , Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) raised the price of 1-5 tael gold rings to 97.2-98.7 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 200,000 VND per tael in both buying and selling.
At 3:29 p.m., Doji Gold and Gemstone Group raised the buying and selling price of 9999 gold rings to 97.2-99.5 million VND/tael early this afternoon, an increase of 100,000 VND per tael for buying and an increase of 200,000 VND per tael for selling.
Earlier this afternoon, SJC Company listed the price of gold rings of type 1-5 at only 97-98.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 400 thousand VND/tael in the buying direction and 300 thousand VND/tael more expensive in the selling direction compared to this morning.
Doji Gold and Gemstone Group early this afternoon raised the buying and selling price of 9999 gold rings to 97.1-99.3 million VND/tael, an increase of 400 thousand VND/tael for buying and 300 thousand VND/tael more expensive for selling compared to this morning.
Bao Tin Minh Chau gold brand raised the price of plain round gold rings to 99.5 million VND/tael (selling).

The central exchange rate on March 27 announced by the State Bank was 24,846 VND/USD, down 5 VND compared to the previous trading session. The USD price at commercial banks this morning (March 27) was commonly listed at 25,360 VND/USD (buy) and 25,750 VND/USD (sell).
At 8:58 a.m. today (March 27, Vietnam time) , the world spot gold price was at 3,023.7 USD/ounce, down 1.3 USD/ounce compared to last night. The price of gold futures for June 2025 on the Comex New York floor was at 3,058.3 USD/ounce.
On the morning of March 27 , the world gold price converted to USD bank price was over 94.8 million VND/tael, including tax and fees, about 3.6 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
As of 8:30 p.m. on March 26 (Vietnam time), the spot gold price today on the international market was at $3,025/ounce. Gold for June 2025 delivery on the Comex New York floor was at $3,056/ounce.
The world gold price on the night of March 26 was about 46.6% higher (962 USD/ounce) than at the beginning of 2024. The world gold price converted to the bank USD price was 94.8 million VND/tael, including taxes and fees, about 3.6 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price as of the end of the afternoon session on March 26.

The price of gold rings also increased again and is not far from the new record of 100 million VND/tael on March 20. On the evening of March 26, SJC announced that the price of gold rings of type 1-5 was only at 96.6-98.2 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 800,000 VND in the buying price and 500,000 VND in the selling price compared to the previous session.
Doji listed the price of 9999 round smooth gold rings at 96.7-99 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 600,000 VND for buying and 300,000 VND for selling compared to the previous session.
Gold Price Forecast
World gold prices are fluctuating within a narrow range, almost flat around the threshold of 3,000-3,030 USD/ounce.
According to Kitco experts, gold prices tend to strengthen in the short term, right in April. The next target is the high of the week, $3,042/ounce, followed by $3,050. Strong resistance is $3,100/ounce.
The immediate support is the previous session's low of $3,018/ounce and then the weekly low of $3,007.7/ounce.
While the US economy remains resilient, experts warn that economic uncertainty surrounding President Donald Trump’s import tariffs will continue to weigh on corporate operations. In an uncertain environment, gold prices tend to rise.
Société Générale Bank has just forecast that the price of gold will average around $3,300/ounce in the fourth quarter of 2025 and could reach $4,000/ounce if geopolitical instability increases. This also means that central banks around the world will continue to buy gold.
