Gold price forecast to hit all-time high
Today, the price of 9999 gold, SJC, 24K, Mi Hong, PNJ, DOJI is forecast to reach its highest level in history. The world gold price is close to the 2,000 USD/ounce mark.
At the time of survey at 5:00 a.m. on October 23, 2023, the gold price on the trading floors of some companies was as follows:
DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 70.30 million VND/tael for buying and 71.10 million VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 70.10 - 70.65 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 70.30 - 71.00 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 70.30 - 71.20 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
USD price tends to increase in the new week
USD exchange rate today is on an upward trend. The world USD exchange rate remains above 106 points.
The central VND/USD exchange rate announced by the State Bank today is adjusted to 24,110 VND/USD, an increase of 10 VND compared to October 20.
Currently, the exchange rate allowed for trading by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 - 25,265 VND/USD. The US Dollar exchange rate has also been brought to the buying and selling range by the State Bank of Vietnam from 23,400 to 25,265 VND/USD.
The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of upward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank has a buying price of 24,360 and a selling price of 24,700. The current USD buying and selling prices are in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.
Steel prices decrease , there will be another large-scale green steel factory in Nam Dinh
Today's steel price for January 2024 delivery on the Shanghai Stock Exchange fell 16 yuan to 3,618 yuan/ton.
Thus, domestic steel prices have been flat for more than a month. Since September 7, some domestic steel companies have announced a reduction of VND100,000-310,000/ton for CB240 rolled steel products, while D10 CB300 rebar prices remain unchanged.
Specifically, in this 19th price reduction, Hoa Phat Steel brand reduced the price by 100,000 VND/ton for CB240 rolled steel products in all 3 regions. After price adjustment, the price of this steel line in the North and Central regions dropped to 13.43 million VND/ton; while in the South, the selling price was 13.53 million VND/ton.
The price of D10 CB300 rebar remains the same as the previous adjustment, at 13.74-13.79 million VND/ton.
Meanwhile, Nam Dinh is about to have a large-scale green steel factory. It is known that the project "Xuan Thien Nghia Hung Green Steel Factory" is invested by Xuan Thien Nghia Hung Joint Stock Company with a plan to build a steel complex with a capacity of 9,500,000 tons of steel products/year in three phases in Nam Dien (Nghia Hung, Nam Dinh).
Upon completion of construction for all three phases, the steel complex will have an annual production capacity of 9,500,000 tons of steel products.
Domestic coffee prices maintain increase
Updated at 4:40 a.m. on October 23, domestic coffee prices continue to increase, currently the Central Highlands provinces have an average price of 60,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces on October 23, 2023 was VND 60,000/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee was also purchased at VND 60,100/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 59,400 VND/kg.
In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee price is currently at 60,300 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 60,400 VND/kg.
