On October 29, the leaders of Hue Central Hospital, branch 2, confirmed the information that the family of the champion of the program Road to Olympia, Vo Quang Phu Duc, donated rice to poor patients at the hospital.
Accordingly, a few days ago, Phu Duc's family contacted the hospital to donate 400 free lunches to poor patients being treated at Hue Central Hospital, branch 2 (Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue).
This is a central medical facility in Hue, which receives and treats many poor patients in the northern localities of the province and patients in Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces.
According to the hospital's leadership, Phu Duc's family said that after he won the laurel wreath of the program, the family vowed to share with the community and society by giving rice to poor patients.
“The work of Vo Quang Phu Duc’s family has made us admire. The hospital has created conditions to support the free rice donation and support poor patients here,” said the leader of Hue Central Hospital, branch 2.
Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , the family representative of Vo Quang Phu Duc said that giving rice to patients is not a big deal and they just want to do it quietly.
“Giving rice is one of the charity works our family often does, not because Phu Duc won the laurel wreath and prize of the program Road to Olympia,” said a representative of Phu Duc's family.
