Meeting and awarding of outstanding women and young faces of the Police

On the afternoon of October 17, in commemoration of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20), the Provincial Police held a meeting to present the "Typical Thanh Hoa Police Women Award", "Typical Thanh Hoa Police Young Faces" in 2023, and the "For the Development of Vietnamese Women" commemorative medal. Comrade Le Van Chau, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Women's Union and the Provincial Police attended the meeting.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Thi Chung, Head of the Provincial Police Youth and Women's Committee, read a speech reviewing the traditions of Vietnamese women.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious traditions of Vietnamese women through the ages and the traditions of Thanh Hoa women and women of the People's Public Security Forces.

Over the years, the female officers and members of Thanh Hoa Police have always been united, proactive, responsible and creative to both excellently complete assigned tasks and fulfill the role and responsibility of women in the family and society.

To date, the province has 404 full-time female police officers working in 248/558 communes, wards and towns, making it one of the localities with the highest proportion of female commune-level officers in the country; there are 111 female leaders and commanders.

They have affirmed the important position and role of Thanh Hoa Police women in ensuring security and order and building the force, and at the same time demonstrated the attention and worthy recognition of Party committees and leaders at all levels for the work of female cadres, association work and women's movement in recent years.

Representatives of the Provincial Women's Union and the Provincial Police presented the symbol of the award "Outstanding Thanh Hoa Police Women" in 2023.

Recognizing the contributions of female officers and soldiers of Thanh Hoa Police, at the meeting, the Provincial Police Board of Directors awarded the "Outstanding Young Faces of Thanh Hoa Police" award in 2023 to 7 individuals and the "Outstanding Women of Thanh Hoa Police" award in 2023 to 7 individuals.

Representatives of the Provincial Women's Union and Provincial Police presented Commemorative Medals to individuals.

Comrade Le Van Chau, Provincial Party Committee member, Provincial Youth Union Secretary and leaders of the Provincial Police awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union to individuals with outstanding achievements in the Thanh Hoa Police Youth Summer Volunteer Campaign.

Leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Police presented flowers and took souvenir photos with female officers of the Provincial Police.

On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union awarded the "Medal for the Development of Vietnamese Women" to 8 individuals who are members of the Provincial Police Women's Union; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Thanh Hoa Police Youth Summer Volunteer Campaign held from May to August 2024.

Leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Police presented flowers to congratulate the leaders of the Provincial Women's Union and female officers of the Provincial Police at the meeting.

Before the meeting, the Women's Union and the Youth Working Committee of the Provincial Police organized an incense offering ceremony at the traditional house and the monument of People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Thi Loi.
