Meeting to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force's tradition day

On the morning of July 11, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers (VYV) held a meeting to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force's tradition day (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2024) and summarize the movement "VyVyVers doing good business - for comradeship" in the period 2019-2024.

At the conference, delegates reviewed the 74-year tradition of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force and Ninh Binh Youth Volunteer Force.

During the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese Youth Volunteers, including over 10,000 Ninh Binh Youth Volunteers, overcame bombs and bullets, crossed forests and waded streams, dug mountains and opened roads, achieved feats of arms, ensured the safety of nearly 3,000 key traffic points, transported tens of thousands of tons of goods, weapons, food, etc.

In peacetime, the Youth Volunteer Force is always enthusiastic and responsible for its homeland and country, setting shining examples for the young generation today and forever.

Promoting the tradition of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force, the Ninh Binh Provincial Veterans Association always strives to actively participate in local patriotic emulation movements, build a strong Association, and fulfill its role as a historical witness. The work of "Comradely Love" has received attention, many members have participated in helping many members in difficult circumstances and has become a widespread movement with many diverse and rich forms, bringing practical results.

In the past 5 years, responding to the movement "Former Youth Volunteers do good business - for the sake of comradeship", many activities to help and support comrades have been effectively implemented. The Comradeship Fund currently has over 5.2 billion VND for members to borrow capital with low interest rates or no interest; giving 5,382 gifts to former Youth Volunteers in difficult circumstances with an amount of over 1.9 billion VND. The whole province has built 338 models of former Youth Volunteers doing good business, of which 152 models have an income of 100-500 million VND/year. Playing the role of a historical witness, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers has helped resolve the remaining regimes and policies for Youth Volunteers who completed their tasks during the resistance war...

On this occasion, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers commended typical collectives and individuals who have been outstanding in implementing policies and regimes for Youth Volunteers, in the emulation movement to do good business, actively participating in comradely activities and in former Youth Volunteers who have overcome difficulties to escape poverty.
