Meeting with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Delegation attending the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

On the morning of October 15, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee held a meeting with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Delegation to attend the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029. Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, attended and delivered a speech at the meeting.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Thanh Hoa Provincial Delegation attending the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

According to the program, the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term will be held from October 16 to 18 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) with the participation of 1,052 delegates. The delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province has 18 delegates attending the Congress, including 17 official delegates and 1 invited delegate attending the opening session, Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, wished the delegates good health and positive contributions to the success of the Congress. He emphasized that the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term is an event of important political significance for the country, a space for sharing experiences of localities in the work of solidarity, gathering people, promoting democracy, tradition, and the strength of great national unity.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that in the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province and the Fatherland Fronts at all levels in the province have excellently fulfilled their tasks, affirming their great role in the work of the front. With the responsibility of organizing and widely uniting the people of all ethnic groups in the province, the Fatherland Front has taken actions and letters to mobilize and call for the strength of national solidarity to participate in social security activities, care for the poor and policy beneficiaries; especially directing the promotion of the movement to build houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the spirit of Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; mobilizing people to donate land to invest in, renovate, upgrade, and improve infrastructure, focusing on roads in rural and urban areas in the province in a synchronous and modern direction according to Directive 24-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; Building self-management models for the People in building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas; mobilizing support for the People to overcome the effects of storms No. 3 and No. 4 with the highest amount of support ever.

With outstanding results, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the delegates attending the Congress to promote a sense of responsibility, share good experiences, creative ways of doing things, and valuable lessons of Thanh Hoa in promoting democracy, tradition, and the strength of great national unity, especially in ethnic and religious affairs. Participate fully in the activities of the Congress, strictly comply with the rules and regulations; promote the highest intelligence, actively research, participate in discussions, and contribute many quality ideas to build the Congress documents; wisely negotiate and elect truly outstanding delegates to join the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, contributing to the success of the Congress.
