Meeting with Ninh Thuan tourism businesses and Gwangju city, Korea

On March 29, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the meeting with tourism enterprises of Ninh Thuan province and the Tourism Association of Gwangju city (Korea).

At the program, businesses from both sides exchanged, shared information, introduced and promoted the potential, advantages and investment opportunities in tourism in the spirit of cooperation and development. Up to now, the province has 35 foreign investment projects, with a total investment capital of 1,204 million USD. Of which, there are 3 investment projects from Korea including: Hanbaram wind power plant 150 million USD; Lotte cinema project 2.4 million USD and Children's toy factory project of Innoflow Ninh Thuan Co., Ltd. 138 billion VND. In addition, Ninh Thuan province has received 31 non-refundable aid projects from Korea, with a total value of 2.4 million USD. Particularly, the Korean chili planting project of CJ Group in Tam Ngan village, Lam Son commune (Ninh Son) with a total cost of more than 1.8 million USD is sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency and CJ Group Korea. In order to promote investment attraction, in recent times, our province has also focused on promoting and connecting the Korean tourist market; especially in December 2023, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Delegation visited and worked with the Gwangju City Tourism Association, surveyed a number of key tourism projects and successful Korean beach resort tourism models...

Speaking at the program, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Ninh Thuan has many potentials, distinct and unique advantages from nature, people, cultural traditions, history; has the ability to develop diverse and rich types of tourism such as: beach resort tourism, kite surfing sports tourism, golf, cultural tourism... To improve the effectiveness of cooperation between Ninh Thuan and Korea in the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Gwangju City Tourism Association continue to pay attention to supporting and creating conditions for investors and tourism businesses in Gwangju City to come to learn, invest, organize tours to visit, experience, and relax in Ninh Thuan. On the province's side, it is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for investors and tourism businesses in Gwangju city in the process of researching, surveying, connecting, collecting information, implementing investment registration procedures, and providing investment incentives in the direction of ensuring the best interests of investors and businesses to exploit and effectively promote the potential and advantages of tourism development of the province in the coming time.
