Speaking at the 2023 regular university graduation ceremony for 4,577 new bachelors of all majors of the National Economics University on the morning of August 26, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong, President of the National Economics University, said that over the years, the school has always been proud to be a place to nurture passion, encourage creative ideas and promote the potential and aspirations of many generations of students.

This year, the National Economics University recognized and awarded diplomas to 4,577 new graduates. Of these, 1,192 graduated with honors (26.04%), 1,925 with honors (42.06%), and 1,376 with good grades (30.06%).
Notably, this year the school has 39 valedictorians in all majors, all achieving a GPA of 3.66 to 4.0, graduating with excellent grades.
According to Mr. Pham Hong Chuong, with their learning determination, self-will and the systematic knowledge equipped at the National Economics University, the new graduates will continue to seize opportunities, overcome challenges to reach new successes.

Representing the new graduates, Tran Anh Ngoc, a student of Auditing class 61A, Institute of Accounting and Auditing, shared about her 4-year journey at the National Economics University. She also expressed her gratitude to the school leaders and teachers who have devoted all their efforts to building a dynamic and creative learning environment, creating the best conditions for students to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to become the best version of themselves, bearing their own personal mark.
"Graduation is not a destination, but a milestone marking maturity. In the future, no matter where we go or what we do, we will always carry with us the knowledge our teachers have taught us, and the identity of a National Economics student," said new graduate Tran Anh Ngoc.
Also at the ceremony, 20 new graduates who were excellent valedictorians received scholarships for the PGSM Master's Program of the Institute of Banking and Finance (National Economics University), each worth 20 million VND; 15 new graduates who were excellent valedictorians received scholarships for the IMD@NEU International Master's Program of the Institute of International Training (National Economics University), each worth 30 million VND.
This year, National Economics University enrolls about 6,200 students, with benchmark scores ranging from 26.1 to 37.1, the highest in Marketing Communications.
On a scale of 40 (English or Math multiplied by 2), the benchmark score ranges from 35.65 to 37.1. The Marketing Communications major (POHE system) has the highest score of 37.1 points. With this level, on average, each subject a candidate must achieve more than 9.27 points to be admitted. The lowest score is for Hotel Management, Travel Management, and Market Management (same POHE system). Compared to last year, this year's benchmark score for the majors has decreased by about 0.5-1 point.
On a 30-point scale, E-commerce has the highest benchmark score of 27.65 points, with candidates having to score an average of more than 9.21 points. Many other majors also have benchmark scores above 27, such as Marketing, Public Relations, Finance - Banking, Auditing, Accounting... The remaining majors are all above 26, with the lowest being Public Management and Policy at 26.1.
