On the afternoon of October 19, the Hoa Lu District Women's Union coordinated with the Ninh Van Commune Women's Union to organize a calligraphy art exchange program to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union and Vietnamese Women's Day.
Calligraphy is one of many unique cultural and artistic forms with a long tradition in Ninh Van commune. At the exchange program, 7 calligraphy teams with nearly 500 members from women's associations in the commune performed 7 sets of calligraphy with messages about the fine traditions of Vietnamese women.
With careful and elaborate preparation, the teams demonstrated graceful and beautiful lines, the quintessence of the art of lettering, attracting the enthusiastic attention and support of the audience.
The calligraphy art exchange program has created a healthy and useful playground, a joyful and exciting atmosphere, contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of women members. At the same time, it practically celebrates the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2023). Through the calligraphy art program, we aim to preserve and promote the historical values and fine traditions of the people of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, towards building an "Ancient Capital - Heritage City".
