On September 11, the International Electronics Exhibition (NEPCON Vietnam 2024) opened in Hanoi, attracting the attention and participation of nearly 300 leading electronics brands from 20 countries and territories around the world.

As an annual event of the electronics industry organized by RX Tradex Vietnam Company, the Exhibition also has the participation of 14 international organizations and associations from Singapore, Taiwan (China), Japan and Korea... bringing advanced technologies and breakthrough solutions, contributing to promoting the development of the domestic electronics manufacturing industry.
NEPCON Vietnam 2024 focuses on key areas such as technology and equipment for the surface soldering industry (SMT), manufacturing support services for the electronics industry, semiconductor industry and equipment for printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing.
In particular, the products and solutions at the Exhibition mainly focus on developing 4.0 manufacturing and supporting small and medium enterprises. This shows that the Vietnamese market is becoming an important destination for the electronics manufacturing industry in the region and the world.
In addition, according to RX Tradex Vietnam Company, the products and solutions displayed at this year's Exhibition recorded about 30% of businesses focusing on manufacturing electronic components and 20% on assembly, not only reflecting new trends but also demonstrating the strong potential for expansion and development of the electronics industry.
Along with that, the growing interest in the fields of quality control, consumer electronics and automobiles not only marks pioneering trends but also opens up new development opportunities, affirming Vietnam's increasingly important role in the global electronics supply chain.
According to Mr. Vu Trong Tai - General Director of RX Tradex Vietnam Company, although organized in a very difficult time due to the impact of storm No. 3, the gathering of many leading electronics brands to participate shows the interest of the business community in the electronics industry.

"NEPCON Vietnam 2024 promises to create an ideal launching pad for businesses to connect, expand business relationships and seek valuable orders. At the same time, we hope that the Exhibition will not only help businesses grasp the most advanced technology trends but also create an equal playing field for domestic and international businesses to cooperate and develop together," Mr. Tai emphasized.
Ms. Do Thi Thuy Huong - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Electronics Industry Association (VEIA) said that the Vietnamese electronics industry is undergoing a period of strong transformation. Therefore, we are facing a great opportunity to participate more deeply in the global semiconductor and microchip supply chain; especially the Government is also making every effort to seize this golden opportunity.
NEPCON Vietnam 2024 will act as a springboard, helping Vietnamese businesses seize opportunities to integrate deeper into the global value chain; overcome challenges and rise to the leading position in the region.
One of the highlights of NEPCON Vietnam 2024 is the IPC International Hand Soldering and Repair Competition and the NECON Asia Exhibition introduction event, also organized by RX Group, which will take place in November 2024 in Shenzhen, China.
Within the framework of the Exhibition, there will also be a series of in-depth seminars on topics such as: smart manufacturing - digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things in electronics manufacturing...
Notably, at this year's Exhibition, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will participate with a trade delegation of 10 electronics businesses, aiming to meet Vietnamese businesses, connect with distributors, agents and expand the market in Vietnam.
