Nearly 300 employees of Hanoi Railways participate in the 2024 Voluntary Blood Donation Festival

On the morning of May 22, at Hanoi Station, Vietnam Railways Corporation and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital organized a voluntary blood donation program with the spirit of sharing "Every drop of blood given - A life remains". A large number of youth union members, officers and employees of railway units in all transport systems, locomotives, carriages, bridges, roads, signal information, and transport operations in Hanoi participated in the Blood Donation Festival.

Vietnam Railways Corporation launched the program to its units and received the participation of many staff, workers in the industry, passengers at Hanoi station, and people around the area... As of 12 noon today, the program has successfully received 250 units of blood out of a total of 265 registrations, reaching 104% of the plan.

The voluntary blood donation program is organized annually by the Vietnam Railway Youth Union in coordination with other units, spreading to all employees in all regions of the country, demonstrating the concern and responsibility of the railway industry towards the community. After the success of the Blood Donation Festival at Hanoi Station, the voluntary blood donation program continues to be widely deployed in railway units in the regions. Hopefully, this movement will become one of the social and humanitarian activities launched and expanded during the annual Workers' Month of the Railway Industry's employees.
