Towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army on December 22 (1944-2024), the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22 (1989-2024), on November 2-3, at Regiment 19 (Division 968), Regiment 19 coordinated with the Museum of Military Region 4 and Cam Lo District Youth Union, Quang Tri province to organize a thematic exhibition "Heroic Army - Strong National Defense".
The exhibition vividly recreated the glorious feats and great contributions of the Vietnam People's Army in the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland over the past 80 years with nearly 200 images, documents and valuable artifacts kept at the Military Region 4 Museum. These are documents painstakingly collected from central and local archives, agencies, units and veterans across the country.

Along with that are 36 panels connecting images, documents, artifacts, tight and scientific layout bringing many emotions to viewers, expressed in 3 main parts: The birth of the revolutionary army; Determined to fight, determined to win and Strong national defense - Protecting the Fatherland.
Through the exhibition, the aim is to propagate and educate officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 4 and the people in the area, especially the youth, to understand the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army in 80 years of building, fighting and growing; the contributions of the army and people of Military Region 4 in the glorious historical periods of the nation.
From there, we will be more proud of our nation's history, promote responsibility in studying and working, be ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks, and make a worthy contribution to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new era.
