Nearly 200 enterprises in Thai Thuy district participate in training on measuring the DDCI Index in 2023

In order to help businesses grasp the content of the DDCI Index and the skills and operations of using software to score electronic survey forms on internet-connected devices, on the morning of August 11, the Provincial Business Association and the consulting unit coordinated with the People's Committee of Thai Thuy district to organize a conference to deploy the implementation of the DDCI Index on a digital technology platform in 2023 for nearly 200 businesses and cooperatives in the district.

Implementing the DDCI Index of Thai Binh province in 2023, enterprises will evaluate 62 indicators of 9 component indicators for departments, branches and sectors, including: transparency and access to information; informal costs; time costs; fair competition; business support; legal institutions and security and order; dynamism and creativity; role of leaders; digital transformation. Particularly for the district and city levels, enterprises will evaluate 77 indicators of 10 component indicators, including 9 indicators at the department, branch and sector level and an additional index of access to land and business premises. By organizing the survey on a digital technology platform, the Provincial People's Committee expects to improve the quality of measuring the DDCI Index, more realistically assessing the quality of economic management of departments, branches, sectors, districts and cities. Based on identifying the advantages and limitations in economic management, the Provincial People's Committee will have solutions to direct the replication of advantages and overcome shortcomings in order to continuously improve the investment and business environment, enhance the provincial competitiveness PCI, contribute to promoting investment attraction and helping people and businesses develop production and business effectively.

At the conference, the consulting unit disseminated basic knowledge about measuring the DDCI Index on a digital technology platform, the advantages and benefits when businesses conduct surveys on devices with internet connection. In particular, businesses were given specific instructions on the steps and procedures for scoring questions in the electronic survey on the DDCI survey software integrated with the Electronic Information Portal at "www.ddcithaibinh.vn".

In order to continuously improve the investment and business environment, Thai Thuy district hopes that the business community will actively participate in the survey, be impartial, objective, and responsible in scoring the DDCI Index to help the District People's Committee promptly grasp the shortcomings in the local economic management work to make effective adjustments and directions, contributing to creating a more favorable environment for people and businesses to invest and develop production and business.
