On the morning of November 4, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (C04, Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with Vietnam Television to organize the "Drug-free school" contest for middle and high school students nationwide.
According to Major General Nguyen Duc Thinh, Deputy Director of Department C04, in recent years, drugs and addictive substances have appeared in many different forms, infiltrating schools.
Many students are lured and enticed to become victims or participate in storing, trading, and transporting drugs, causing consequences not only for their health and lives but also threatening school security and safety.
"Crime and drug abuse are problems for the entire people and society, a threat to humanity, so we must unite, work together to prevent, repel, and completely eliminate this extremely dangerous evil. We must consider drug abuse as the enemy of development; the common enemy of all of us," said Major General Nguyen Duc Thinh.
