The Galaxy Watch FE is essentially a rebranded and re-released version of the Galaxy Watch4. To differentiate itself, Samsung equipped the Watch FE with sapphire glass on top of the screen, an upgrade from the Gorilla Glass DX+ on the Watch4. The Watch FE only comes in one size, 40mm, without the 44mm option like the original version.

The watch features an aluminum case, a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 396 x 396, an Exynos W920 chip, 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, and a 247 mAh battery. The device runs on the Wear OS platform with Samsung's One UI 5 Watch interface.
The Galaxy Watch FE is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, 5ATM for diving, MIL-STD-810H for shock resistance, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo, Samsung BioActive optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and light sensor.

As previously leaked, the Galaxy Watch FE will be available from June 24. It will be available in Black, Rose Gold, and Silver , and will cost $199. The LTE version will cost $249 when it hits shelves in October.
