This performance uses drones and hot air balloons combined with music to create the most impressive effect. Instead of fireworks, there will be an artistic light show of 1,653 unmanned aerial vehicles. The information was provided by Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee at the press conference introducing the Sea Festival Program taking place on the morning of May 25, in Nha Trang city.
According to Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu, the highlight of this Sea Festival is the artistic light performance of drones. This is a new feature, a trend in line with 4.0 technology, digital transformation, and is expected to become one of the "specialties" of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Sea Festival will spread to a large number of people and attract tourists from all over the country to the beautiful coastal city.
The Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023 will take place from June 3 to 6 with more than 60 cultural, sports and tourism programs and activities in Nha Trang city and other cities, districts and towns of Khanh Hoa. Up to now, the province has basically completed the preparation work according to the plan.

The main program taking place at April 2 Square, Nha Trang city includes: Opening ceremony of Sea Festival 2023 with the theme "Khanh Hoa - Bright Aspiration" (at 8:00 p.m., June 3, broadcast live on VTV1, Vietnam Television); Art program "Khanh Hoa - Connecting Love" (at 8:00 p.m., June 4); World Music Festival program "Ocean Echo" (at 8:00 p.m., June 5) and Closing ceremony of Sea Festival 2023 with the theme "Khanh Hoa - Solidarity towards the future" (at 8:00 p.m., June 6, broadcast live on KTV channel, Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station).
During the Sea Festival, many other activities and events are organized such as: Basket-swimming and basket-shaking competitions, fishing competitions, sea rescue competitions, etc.; Cau Ngu Festival, human chess competition, folk game "Ho hat bai choi", Cai luong art performances, folk shadow dancing, etc.; scientific seminars, fine art exhibitions, art displays, sports activities, festivals, national and international tourism events, etc.
The Sea Festival is held to continue affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea and islands, including the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; contributing to improving knowledge for people fishing and raising seafood in the East Sea, thereby protecting the country's sovereignty over the sea and islands.
