As a specialty every summer, Sun World Ba Na Hills has just launched a new "super product" called Fairy Blossom - Fairy Garden, after the shows that have made waves in previous summers such as Sunshine Dance or Battle in the Moon Kingdom. Fairy Blossom officially launched from June 16, at 11:00 every day at Noel Plaza of the tourist area.
Inspired by the beauty of flowers in Ba Na, with a chapter structure of 6 acts, Fairy Blossom tells the story of a fairyland with magical creatures thriving. The show's plot is inspired by Greek mythology, when Mother Earth Gaia appeared and gave life, creating a beautiful and splendid garden of Eden, where giant flowers and happy animals lived together.
Fairy Blossom was created by the rich imagination of Vietnamese circus "wizard" - director Tuan Le, former member of the famous Cirque du Soleil and also the author of plays highly praised by international media such as Lang Toi, A O, Teh Dar... With Fairy Blossom, instead of the Vietnamese cultural colors like the previous shows of this talented director, the audience will be able to enjoy a series of classic performances, records that have made the names of the world's leading artists in the field of circus and magic.
"Gathering more than 200 actors and artists, including many of the most prestigious international artists in the world circus, Fairy Blossom will be a special stage where performing arts are honored and fully expressed with subtle angles and skillful attraction to lead the audience through all levels of emotions. Here, I and Sun World Ba Na Hills share the same dream: using art to honor culture and vice versa, using culture as a catalyst for art to sublimate" - director Tuan Le shared.
When launched, this will be the pioneering show in Vietnam that brings together the most art forms such as circus, magic, flying trapeze, contortion, sway pole, diabolo, tightrope, aerial silk dance, parkour, juggling, choreography... The show has the participation of Domitil Aillot - French star, the world's leading male pole circus artist; the famous twin stars of Cirque du Soleil - Crystal Ladies with magical legs, once stirred up The Ellen Show; or the leading Russian artist couple - Oleg Izossimov - hand-balancing circus artist, regular guests of royal events, along with "mermaid" Olga Moreva - queen of aerial silk dance with breathtaking, emotional performances... and many other prominent names.
"I never thought I would stand on such a "unique" stage in my career. Wonderful, large-scale, brilliant... are the words we can use to describe this show. Fairy Blossom is very unique because it takes place on a special performance stage at an altitude of nearly 1,500 m, in a space full of fairy-tale colors and magical like a fairyland," the Crystal Ladies twins shared.
Watching the show, the audience will continuously get goosebumps and go from one surprise to another when admiring the heart-stopping acrobatics from a height of tens of meters by talented Vietnamese circus artists, unable to take their eyes off the graceful forms of the flower fairies, excited and constantly dancing with the funny malambo drumming, and then emotions will be pushed to a climax with the top-notch skill performances of the world's leading artists, or bursting with colorful grand scenes. The splendid, mysterious costumes, especially the giant dress of Mother Gaia in the opening scene, make the show completely conquer the audience from the first minutes.
Director Tuan Le's talent is also marked through a series of elaborate details that continuously surprise the audience, which can only be fully appreciated by watching it live. The impressive point of the show also lies in the cheerful and expressive music, selected from world-famous symphonies, leading the audience to a world full of fairytale colors.
"There were some breathtaking circus scenes that I couldn't believe my eyes and could only cheer and clap my hands in admiration, even getting goosebumps at the talent of the artists. The show's choreography was also so beautiful in the colorful costumes that I couldn't take my eyes off for an hour of enjoyment" - Ms. Nguyen Thuy Duyen, a tourist from Hanoi, shared her feelings after watching the show.
For those reasons, Fairy Blossom is expected to contribute to creating a "magical" and attractive summer for visitors to the fairyland of Ba Na. Besides Fairy Blossom, waiting for visitors at Sun World Ba Na Hills this summer is also a "great feast of art" with "must-try spiritual dishes" such as the Rainbow show (part of the Cabaret Plus show series) by charming LGBTQ+ artists with high-heeled performances and trendy drag queen costumes, the Soloist stage series honoring talented artists through solo performances that have made their mark, or the exciting "Enchanment" Parade show with the participation of 40 foreign artists.
