Erling Haaland could replace Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid
Haaland could replace Kylian Mbappe as Real Madrid's new "blockbuster", with a secret clause in Man City's contract.
AS reported that Erling Haaland's contract with Man City until 2027 includes a clause allowing him to leave Etihad Stadium this summer for 200 million Euros.
Remarkably, clubs outside the Premier League can own the Norwegian striker for only half of the above figure (ie 100 million Euros).
The source even asserted that “Haaland will join Real Madrid” once the clause with Man City is activated.
Maybe not this summer but Haaland playing for Real Madrid is entirely possible, if he leaves Man City.
Regarding teams outside the Premier League and La Liga, coach Xavi recently said that Barca does not have enough money to sign Haaland or Mbappe, so the White Vultures are considered to have no rivals.

Kylian Mbappe agrees to stay at PSG
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi announced that he has reached a personal agreement with Kylian Mbappe. Nasser Al-Khelaifi, as a guest on the Rothen s'enflamme program on RMC Sport (presented by former player Jerome Rothen), made the latest statements about Mbappe.
PSG chief confirms Mbappe is at the heart of the French capital club's project. President Al-Khelaifi's statement came shortly after news broke that Mbappe had reached an agreement to join Real Madrid.
"I want Kylian to stay, that's clear," Al-Khelaifi said. "Mbappe is the best player in the world and the best thing for him is PSG.
This is the heart of the project. Sportingly, we gave him everything. Kylian has an agreement with me."
The Qatari businessman elaborated: "Kylian is a great player and also a great person.
As Kylian said after the Trophée des Champions (French Super Cup; PSG beat Toulouse 2-0, Lee Kang In and Mbappe scored), he had an agreement with me.
It's between us, I don't want to reveal what's in the agreement but it is an agreement.
I don't want to talk about money or the value of this deal. We have a 'gentleman's agreement', our agreement has nothing to do with money.
This agreement is between the player and the club president, the sporting director and the coach. It is more than just an agreement signed on paper."
