US billionaire Elon Musk plans to visit towns near the border with the Gaza Strip next week, Israeli media reported.
Israeli news site N12 reported on November 23 that Elon Musk plans to visit Israeli towns about 7 kilometers from the Gaza Strip border. These towns were heavily affected by the Hamas attack on October 7, which killed 1,400 people and took about 240 hostages.
According to N12, Mr. Musk will review the aftermath of the Hamas attacks in these areas. He is also expected to meet with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Tel Aviv has not confirmed the visit by the American billionaire. If it happens, it will be the second meeting between Musk and Prime Minister Netanyahu this year. The first meeting took place in California in September, during which the two discussed anti-Semitism on Musk-owned social network X.
News of Mr Musk's visit comes as the US billionaire announced he would donate all advertising and subscription revenue related to the Gaza war to hospitals in Israel.
Mr Musk is facing accusations of anti-Semitism. Musk has expressed support for a conspiracy theory that Jews are stirring up hatred against white people, prompting criticism from the White House.
In late October, he angered Israel by announcing his willingness to provide Internet access to humanitarian organizations in Gaza using Starlink equipment, which Tel Aviv said could be used by Hamas to advance its own agenda.
