Of which, the champion receives 35,000 USD (equivalent to 861 million VND), the runner-up receives 13,000 USD (about 319 million VND), and the third place receives 5,000 USD (about 123 million VND)/person. In addition, the top 8 receives 3,000 USD, the top 16 receives 1,600 USD, the top 32 receives 800 USD and the top 64 receives 450 USD.

On September 28, Nguyen Phuc Long (ranked 129th in the world) was the only player of Vietnamese billiards pool competing in the round of 16 of the Ho Chi Minh City Open 2024. Phuc Long lost 6-11 to Sanjin Pehlivanvi (Bosnia & Herzegovina, ranked 47th in the world). Stopping in the round of 16, Nguyen Phuc Long received a prize of 1,600 USD (nearly 40 million VND).
