Railways adds 10 trains from Hanoi to Hai Phong during September 2nd holiday

The railway has added 10 passenger trains on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route to serve passengers traveling during the September 2 holiday.

Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, in addition to the 4 pairs of trains running regularly every day, the railway will run 10 more trains to serve the increased passenger demand on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route.
Accordingly, from August 31 to September 3, all trains will depart and end at Hanoi station. The fare for a round-trip ticket ranges from 120,000 - 140,000 VND/ticket/trip depending on the train, departure date and seat location on the train.

Departing from Hanoi station, there are 4 fixed trains: Train HP1 departs from Hanoi station at 6:00, arrives at Hai Phong station at 8:25; Train LP3 departs at 9:20, arrives at 12:00; Train LP5 departs at 15:15, arrives at 18:00; Train LP7 departs at 18:10, arrives at 20:55. On August 31 and September 1, there is an additional train LP9 departing at 7:15, arrives at 10:07; Train HP3 departs at 10:00, arrives at 12:45. Departing from Hai Phong station, there are 4 fixed trains: Train LP2 departs from Hai Phong station at 6:10, arrives at Hanoi station at 8:49; Train LP6 departs at 9:10, arrives at 11:52; Train LP8 departs at 15:00, arrives at 17:40; Train HP2 departs at 6:40 p.m. and arrives at 9:15 p.m. On September 2 and 3, there will be train HP4 departing from Hai Phong station at 2:35 p.m. and arriving at 5:15 p.m.; On September 1, 2 and 3, there will be train LP10 departing at 4:20 p.m. and arriving at 7:03 p.m. In addition, the railway also runs train HD2 departing from Hai Duong station at 4:30 p.m. and arriving at Hanoi station at 6:02 p.m. The trains pick up and drop off passengers at the following stations: Thuong Ly, Phu Thai, Hai Duong, Cam Giang, Gia Lam, and Long Bien. Train HP3 does not pick up passengers at Long Bien station; train HP4 does not pick up passengers at Thuong Ly and Long Bien stations; train HP1 does not pick up passengers at Long Bien and Cam Giang stations. Trains transport luggage, bicycles, motorbikes to and from the following stations: Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Cam Giang, Gia Lam (except HP1/HP2), Long Bien (only accepts bicycles and luggage), Hanoi. LP9 train does not transport luggage. Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company also said that the railway is applying a monthly ticket sales program for passengers traveling on trains HP1/HP2, LP2/LP3, LP5/LP6, LP7/LP8 and trains running during holidays on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route. Passengers who buy monthly tickets will not be limited in the number of trains they take in a month; they can use all types of seats on the train, except for high-quality cars. Regarding ticket prices, monthly tickets with departure stations Hanoi, Long Bien, Gia Lam, arrival stations Cam Giang, Hai Duong and vice versa cost 550,000 VND/ticket. Monthly tickets with departure stations being Hanoi, Long Bien, Gia Lam, arrival stations being Phu Thai, Thuong Ly, Hai Phong and vice versa cost 800,000 VND/ticket.
