Railway opens summer train ticket sales, many attractive discount policies

Specifically, on the Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi route, there are 4 pairs of Thong Nhat trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8 running regularly. At Hanoi station, train SE3 departs at 7:20 p.m. and arrives at Saigon station at 5:45 a.m.; train SE1 departs at 8:55 p.m. and arrives at 6:50 a.m.; train SE5 departs at 3:30 p.m. and arrives at 5:18 a.m.; train SE7 departs at 6:10 a.m. and arrives at 6:10 p.m.

At Saigon station, train SE4 departs at 19:00 and arrives at Hanoi station at 5:40; train SE2 departs at 20:35 and arrives at 6:00; train SE6 departs at 15:00 and arrives at 4:35; train SE8 departs at 6:00 and arrives at 19:12.

Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route, run train SE21/SE22. Train SE21 departs from Da Nang station at 8:00 and arrives at Saigon station at 4:20. Train SE22 departs from Saigon station at 10:20 and arrives at Da Nang station at 5:55.

During the summer, from May 17 to August 18, 2024, the railway will apply many incentive programs and reduce ticket prices. Accordingly, individual union members will receive a 5% discount; groups of union members from 10 to 39 will receive a 7% discount, and groups of 40 or more will receive a 10% discount.

Passengers who buy individual tickets for trains SE3/SE4, SE7/SE8 with a travel distance of 900km or more, SE21/SE22 with a travel distance of 600km or more, SE29/SE30 with a travel distance of 400km or more, SNT1/SNT2 with a travel distance of 300km or more will receive a discount when purchasing many days in advance: 5% discount for 20-39 days in advance; 10% discount for 40 days or more in advance. However, this discount does not apply to 4-berth cabin seats on trains SNT1/SNT2 and SE3.

For SPT1/SPT2 trains, individual passengers who purchase through-trip tickets 10 days or more in advance will receive a 5% discount. However, this does not apply to 4-berth cabins.

In addition, the railway still applies the policy of exempting and reducing ticket prices for social policy subjects: Vietnamese heroic mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, people with severe disabilities, children, students...
