On October 3, the Last 64, Last 32 and Last 16 rounds took place, within the framework of the Peri 9-Ball Open Pool 2024 tournament. The 10 Vietnamese players participating in the tournament included Do The Kien, Luong Duc Thien, Nguyen Van Huynh, Pham Phuong Nam, Nguyen Viet Tam, Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Nguyen Bao Chau, Tran Vo Dung, Bui Truong An and Duong Quoc Hoang. However, only 2 Vietnamese players entered the round of 8 strongest players, Luong Duc Thien and Nguyen Hoang Tuan. Duong Quoc Hoang was the most notable player who had to stop. The Scottish Open champion lost to former world number 1 Francisco Sanchez Ruiz with a score of 3-9.
