According to Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN, Circular 18/2024/TT-NHNN of the State Bank promulgating regulations on bank card operations and transactions: From January 1, 2025, Corporate/Organizational customers CANNOT TRANSACTION if their IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS (GTTT) expire and have not been BIOMETRICALLY VERIFIED at VPBank.
To ensure smooth transactions and increase security when using payment accounts and cards of Corporate Customers, VPBank recommends that Customers UPDATE IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS and BIOMETRIC VERIFICATION today!

Relevant entities need to prepare:
- Identity documents:
+ 12-digit CCCD with chip still valid, or:
+ Identity card issued from July 1, 2024 (according to the new standards of the Ministry of Public Security), or:
+ Entry visa/Certificate of residence (for foreigners)
- NFC-enabled mobile devices
Please note:
- Currently, VPBank only updates biometrics on the VPBank NEO application and provides guidance at branches/transaction offices nationwide. Businesses can look up the list of VPBank branches/transaction offices here.
- When assisting customers in updating data, VPBank staff will never send a link requesting login, providing user, password, CCCD number, OTP code, or any other personal information. VPBank recommends that businesses be vigilant against forms of fraud and scams.
- It is recommended that businesses do not purchase/use external NFC devices at home to avoid information security risks for personal devices.
- Updating biometrics via VPBank NEO app is currently not supported for foreigners.
