A destination that everyone "falls in love with"
The increasingly diverse international tourist market coming to explore Phu Quoc shows that the attraction of the Pearl Island is increasing every day. This island meets the needs of any tourist, whether they come from cold countries looking for a "tropical paradise" in the winter, or from surrounding Southeast Asian countries wanting to explore a place that international news sites call "the island of thousands of experiences". Not only that, this is also the only destination in Vietnam with superior visa policy, visa exemption for up to 30 days for all tourists from all over the world.
Mr. Kim Kye Yong, CEO of Korean Air in Vietnam, further explained the appeal of the Pearl Island: “Phu Quoc is very well preserved with pristine nature, moreover, there are many luxury hotels, the world’s longest 3-wire cable car, attractive theme parks and beautiful European-style architectural works. In other words, Phu Quoc is a destination where you can both relax and enjoy many experiences at the same time.”
Talking about the charm of the Pearl Island, first of all, we must mention the beautiful nature with a diverse ecosystem that is among the top in Vietnam. Most of Phu Quoc's beaches are pristine and hard to find elsewhere on the mainland and are all among the "most beautiful on the planet" with fine white sand, characteristic emerald water color such as Bai Kem, Bai Sao in the South of the island..., small islands such as Hon Gam Ghi, Hon May Rut... with poetic beauty, diverse marine and forest ecosystems... In the most beautiful season of the year, the island always keeps the temperature at 29-30 degrees Celsius with golden sunshine like honey, gentle winds making everyone feel comfortable when experiencing outdoor activities.
The ideal natural conditions are also the reason why many golfers choose Phu Quoc as a destination to play golf, both to enjoy the beautiful nature and to challenge themselves with golf holes with complex terrain. The 18-hole Eschuri Vung Bau Golf course is a "rising star" when it was just launched and was praised by Korean golf connoisseurs on SBS Golf TV station.
Not only nature, the high-class resort ecosystem with leading international brands or unique entertainment experiences have created an increasingly unique image of Phu Quoc, unmistakable from other island destinations in the world. Typical is the Sun Paradise Land ecosystem in the South of the island with Sunset Town, the iconic Kissing Bridge, the Kiss of the Sea show that holds many world records, the world's longest 3-wire cable car to Hon Thom Island... At the end of the year, Phu Quoc Island also becomes a destination for events and millions of joys when it is expected to launch a craft beer factory and many new shows, typically Symphony of the Sea with jetski and flyboard performances combined with artistic fireworks and Vietnamese cultural elements such as festival drums and lion dances.
In the first 9 months of this year, Phu Quoc Island is estimated to welcome more than 720,000 international visitors, an increase of more than 56% compared to the same period in 2023, exceeding the plan for the whole year by 8.6%. With encouraging signs from the increase in international flights, as well as the diversity of experiences that are constantly being added, Phu Quoc promises to prepare for an explosive year-end tourist season, with numbers predicted to continue to hit records.
