The program of combined tourism and training in Japan (Customized Abroad Study Tour - CAST) was just signed and introduced by Hoang Kim Japan Joint Stock Company and Aikai Group Joint Stock Company on February 23 in Tokyo, Japan.
Representatives of Aikai Group and Hoang Kim Japan signed an agreement to implement a tourism and training program.
Specifically, CAST will be implemented by businesses during this year’s cherry blossom season (expected from late March to early April). Vietnamese businesses will bring the first group of tourists to Japan to experience this model.
In the near future, CAST is designed with an itinerary of about 8 days and 7 nights to visit the golden route in Japan: capital Tokyo - Mount Fuji - ancient capital Kyoto - Nara - Kobe.
In this program, visitors have 2 days to attend special, short but informative lectures, taught by Japanese experts and business leaders. Visitors also visit businesses, factories, agencies and local organizations in Japan, directly experiencing the reality. At the end of the trip, visitors are granted a certificate, which is a basis to confirm that they have been trained in a related field in Japan.
Ms. Dinh Anh Minh, Representative Director of Aikai Group Joint Stock Company - the unit that designs the training content of CAST, said that in the first phase, the program provides training courses on the following topics: corporate governance according to the advanced Japanese model; improving the capacity of leaders of organizations and enterprises in the Japanese style; corporate governance and restructuring from Japanese experience...
For customers who want to connect with business, CAST will invite business leaders in Japan to provide information on areas of interest such as owning and investing in real estate in Japan; M&A of Japanese businesses; manufacturing, importing and exporting Japanese cosmetics and functional foods, etc.
"This model offers tourists both a tour and a journey to experience and learn investment and business knowledge, like a short business trip in Japan," said Ms. Minh.
Ms. Vu Thi Lien Huong, Second Secretary in charge of the education department, Embassy of Vietnam in Japan, said that in addition to the current popular forms such as luxury resort tourism; tourism combined with medical examination and treatment; MICE tourism (tourism combined with attending conferences and seminars)... CAST is a new program and has a lot of potential in promoting understanding between people and cooperation between businesses of Vietnam and Japan.
According to the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) in Vietnam, in 2023, the number of tourists from Vietnam to Japan will be the highest ever with 573,900 arrivals, an increase of 15.9% compared to 2019 (before the Covid-19 pandemic). Most recently, the global online ticket booking platform Booking.com from February 8 to 14 recorded that the capital Tokyo, Osaka and the ancient capital Kyoto of Japan are the most favorite destinations for Vietnamese tourists for the Lunar New Year holiday in 2024.
Accordingly, CAST is expected by businesses to open a new trend for Vietnamese tourists to travel to Japan.
