On March 29, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City and related units announced a program to stimulate and attract tourists to Da Nang (Enjoy Danang 2024).
The organizers said that the units have committed to implementing the program to give away more than 10,000 service packages, free tickets and discounts with a total value equivalent to 5 billion VND to tourists.
In particular, the city gives priority to giving away 2,000 tickets to watch the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival to tourists when registering to buy tourism services and products on online platforms, on the program's website enjoydanang.vn...
Ms. Huynh Thi Huong Lan, Deputy Director of Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, said that this year there will be new tourism products launched for the first time to serve the needs of tourists coming to Da Nang such as: water music performance, water puppetry performance, jet motorcycle performance, opening of Bach Dang walking street and piloting night service on Nguyen Van Troi bridge and the East bank park at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi bridge, Hue - Da Nang tourist train with the theme "Connecting Central Heritage"...
This year's program has many new and attractive features and diverse choices for market segments. Therefore, it is expected that Enjoy Danang 2024 will contribute to the goal of welcoming 8.4 million visitors in 2024.
"We want to spread the image of Da Nang as an attractive destination and want tourists to enjoy interesting moments, emotions and experiences here," said Ms. Lan.
At the program, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, said that in the first 3 months of the year, the total number of flights to Da Nang was estimated at 9,550, with about 1.59 million passengers, including 4,752 international flights.
Currently, the city receives an average of more than 100 domestic and international flights per day. It is expected that in the second quarter of this year, there will be 5 new international flights.
Mr. Cuong said that the Enjoy Danang 2024 program focuses on product packages: events - festivals, night tourism, culinary tourism, wedding tourism and MICE tourism.
"Currently, Da Nang tourism has many conditions to enhance the destination's image, especially after recent events welcoming elites," said Mr. Cuong.

This year, Da Nang plans to organize festival events such as: Brazil - Vietnam Football Festival 2024, International Fireworks Festival, Da Nang Enjoyment Festival, Vinfast Iron Man 70.3 Vietnam, Danang International Marathon 2024, International Street Art Festival, Da Nang Beer Festival, BRG Open Golf Championship, Da Nang Asian Film Festival...
In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to enhance their experience and explore Da Nang with attractive night tourism products, Han River cruise programs, activities of tourist streets and night markets.
