On February 14, Vung Tau City Police (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) said they had just received a plastic package suspected of containing drugs, picked up by a male tourist on the beach and handed it over.

Initial information, at around 10:30 pm on February 13, while walking on Back beach in Vung Tau, TVD (41 years old, residing in Binh Phuoc province) saw a plastic bag weighing about 1kg washed ashore, with foreign writing on the outside.

Suspecting that this was drugs, Mr. D. contacted the local police and handed it over.

Through preliminary inspection, local police suspected that the plastic package contained crystal meth, so they made a record of receipt, reported to competent authorities and transferred the evidence to the authorities for investigation and appraisal.
