(Dan Tri) - Having lost his phone containing important information, a Japanese tourist went to the police station to ask for help. He was very touched when the police found and returned the phone that night.
On December 26, the leader of Quan Bau Ward Police, Vinh City, Nghe An, said that the unit had handed over the lost property to the Japanese tourist.
At about 7:15 p.m. on December 25, two Japanese tourists came to the Quan Bau Ward Police Station for help.
According to Mr. Toshiki Wakamatsu, about an hour before that, he discovered that he had dropped his iPhone 16. The phone contained a lot of important information, Mr. Toshiki Wakamatsu and his friend tried to search for it but to no avail.

After receiving information from the Japanese tourist, Quan Bau Ward Police reported, asked for opinions from Vinh City Police leaders and organized a search.
Using professional measures, nearly 3 hours after receiving the report, the authorities discovered the phone in Hung Trung commune (Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An), about 30km from the original location where it was lost.
A resident of Hung Trung commune picked up the phone, but because it was late at night, he temporarily took it home, planning to go to the police station tomorrow morning to find the owner to return it.
During the night, the working group of Quan Bau Ward Police moved to Hung Trung Commune to receive the phone and hand it over to Mr. Toshiki Wakamatsu.
The Japanese tourist expressed his gratitude for the police's enthusiastic help with his property, which he considered his "lifeline".
"I don't know how to express my gratitude. Thank you very much. Vietnam is such a beautiful country and the people are so warm. We will come back here many times," said Mr. Toshiki Wakamatsu through an interpreter.
