Towards the homeland's sea and islands, Vietnam Railways Corporation provides free transportation of medical equipment for officers, soldiers and their families in Naval Region 4, Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa. This is a meaningful activity contributing to the good implementation of the military rear policy and the State's gratitude to the families of Navy soldiers.
Accordingly, the Vietnam Medical Union handed over medical equipment to the luggage car of train SE5 on August 18 at Hanoi station and arrived at Nha Trang station on August 19. In the afternoon, the equipment will be loaded onto train SE6 departing from Saigon on August 22. It is known that in addition to medical equipment, the shipment also includes medicine, milk and gifts worth more than 600 million.
On the morning of August 22, in Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province, the working delegation organized a meeting and presented gifts to officers and soldiers and their relatives. The working delegation was led by Mr. Pham Thanh Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Medical Trade Union; Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation, Mr. Mai Thanh Phuong, Chairman of the Vietnam Railways Trade Union, and a team of Vietnam Medical Trade Union officers; officers, doctors and nurses of Hanoi Obstetrics Hospital and the National Children's Hospital.
Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan, Commander of Naval Region 4, chaired the reception, attended by the Head of Naval Region 4 Command; Heads of agencies under the Naval Region Command; Leaders and commanders of affiliated units and more than 200 officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4.
