DongTam Group joins hands with CS Wind Corp to build a 200 million USD wind power equipment factory

DongTam Group cooperates with CS Wind Corp to lease land in Long An Southeast Asia Industrial Park, part of the Long An International Port Project Cluster in Can Giuoc district, to invest in a wind power equipment manufacturing factory.

On September 10, 2024, Dong Tam Group (DTG) and CS Wind Group (CS Wind ) officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU).

Accordingly, Dong Tam will lease 50 hectares of industrial land and industrial services to CS Wind Vietnam to build a factory and assembly yard for offshore and onshore wind tower equipment, offshore wind power products such as monopiles, transition equipment... and supply to the global market, on a large scale in the world, with a total expected investment capital of up to 200 million USD.

After in-depth research, CS Wind decided to cooperate closely with DongTam Group to locate the factory in Long An Southeast Asia Industrial Park, part of the 1,935-hectare Long An International Port Project Cluster invested by Dong Tam in Can Giuoc district, Long An province.

According to the cooperation agreement, DTG and its member units will lease 50 hectares of industrial land and industrial services to CS Wind Vietnam to build a factory, assembly yard for offshore and onshore wind tower equipment, wind power products such as monopiles, transition equipment, etc. and supply to the global market.

This is considered the factory with the largest wind power equipment production capacity in the world at the time of project establishment, with a total investment capital in the first phase expected to reach 200 million USD. The expected operating capacity is up to tens of thousands of units per year, supplying super-sized and super-heavy equipment from 500 to 4,000 tons per device. In particular, 100% of equipment and accessories in the first phase are imported and exported through Long An International Port, estimated at 150,000 to 200,000 tons/year.

Korean investors visit and seek investment opportunities at Long An International Port.
