Dong Nai approves investor for urban area project worth over 72,000 billion VND

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just approved a consortium of 5 investors to implement the Hiep Hoa Urban Area Project, with a total investment of more than 72,000 billion VND.

According to Decision No. 2719/QD-UBND, Dong Nai province approved the consortium of 5 investors including: Lan Anh - Phu Quoc Company Limited; Sun Group Joint Stock Company; Ha Long Sun Company Limited; Sun Real Estate Group Joint Stock Company and Phu Quoc Beautiful Sea Investment Company Limited to be investors in the Hiep Hoa Urban Area Project in Bien Hoa City.

The project has a total area of ​​293 hectares, with a total investment of more than 72,000 billion VND, of which the capital contributed by the Joint Venture of Investors is 10,800 billion VND, the remaining 61,400 billion VND is mobilized by investors.

The project will be invested in 6 phases, implemented within 12 years, from the date of investment policy approval. The project's operation period is 50 years according to the provisions of the Investment Law.

Hiep Hoa urban area will be built with a variety of housing types, combined with a commercial service center serving tourism, public services... This urban area will aim to develop sustainable tourism, in harmony with the natural landscape.

The project will harmoniously arrange all types of services, ensuring activities take place day and night, forming a bustling commercial street, meeting the needs of housing, business services and accommodation.

Because Hiep Hoa Urban Area is located in the most prime location in Dong Nai province, with 4 sides bordering Dong Nai River (Hiep Hoa Islet), Dong Nai province is investing in a number of bridges connecting to Hiep Hoa Islet.

At the end of January 2023, Dong Nai province started the Bien Hoa City central axis road project (including Thong Nhat bridge) to connect to Hiep Hoa islet. The project has a total investment of more than 1,500 billion VND.

It is expected that Thong Nhat Bridge to connect to Hiep Hoa Islet will be completed by mid-2025 to open up new urban development space for Hiep Hoa Islet area.

Regarding the planning of Bien Hoa City, on March 17, 2023, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 252/QD-TTg approving the overall adjustment of the master plan of Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province to 2045.

The notable point in Decision No. 252/QD-TTg is the adjustment of Bien Hoa City's planning to gradually transform from an "industrial urban" structure model to a "service and industrial urban" structure model; aiming to develop a smart and sustainable urban area to become one of the key growth poles of the Southeast region.
