Actively contribute to the development of Thanh Hoa city

On the afternoon of January 18, Thanh Hoa City Party Committee held a conference to summarize the work of the streets and villages in 2024, deploy tasks for 2025 and launch the second phase of the Campaign to build houses for poor households, policy families, and households with housing difficulties according to Directive 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council and Comrade Le Trong Thu, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in residential group activities in 2024.

After merging Dong Son district into the city, Thanh Hoa city has 405 streets and villages (296 streets, 109 villages) belonging to 47 wards and communes. In 2024, the Party committees of streets and villages and the Front's working committee have clearly identified key issues to develop plans, assign cadres to monitor, direct and organize the successful implementation of the set goals and tasks.

Notably, in implementing economic development tasks, many families have transformed their crop and livestock structures, bringing high efficiency. In the cities and villages, many effective production and business models have appeared, contributing to job creation and increasing income for people.

Wards and communes signed emulation agreement in 2025.

Implementing the program of building “Civilized urban areas - friendly citizens”, focusing on the Campaign “City residents speak good words, do good deeds, act friendly” and the movement of building advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas, model streets and villages, the committees of the streets have implemented methodically, on time and with content according to the plan of the city, Dong Son district and wards and communes. The movement of building “Cultural families”, “Cultural residential areas” has spread widely. The implementation of civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals has basically become routine.

The movement of the entire people to protect national security has been widely and specifically deployed. The executive committees of the streets and villages have done a good job of propagating and mobilizing the people to raise their vigilance, ensure peace in residential areas, and prevent and repel violations of the law and crimes.

Thanh Hoa City leaders presented thank you letters to agencies and units supporting the implementation of Directive 22-CT/TU.

In the work of building the Party organization, the Party cells of the urban and rural areas have focused on leading the implementation of key tasks, closely following the goals set out in the Resolution of the Party Cell Congress for the 2022-2025 term. Currently, 405 urban and rural Party cells have 21,680 Party members. The Party cell committees of the urban and rural areas always focus on developing plans, management methods, and assigning appropriate tasks to Party members. 2024 is also a breakthrough year in the work of creating sources for recruiting new Party members with 625 Party members admitted.

In 2025, the streets and villages will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, effectively implementing the set goals, targets and tasks. The focus is on successfully organizing the Party cell congress for the 2025-2027 term; completing the targets according to Directive 22-CT/TU on building houses for poor households, policy families, households with housing difficulties and Directive 24-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on mobilizing people to donate land to renovate, upgrade and renovate traffic infrastructure; propagating and mobilizing people to actively develop the socio-economy; improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party cell, building a clean and strong Party cell...

At the conference, the leaders of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee presented the Action Plan of the City People's Committee to implement the resolution of the City Party Executive Committee, the resolution of the City People's Council on the tasks of 2025 and launch the emulation campaign in 2025. Thanh Hoa City Police deployed a plan to ensure security and order before, during and after the Lunar New Year.

On this occasion, Thanh Hoa City launched the second phase of the Campaign to build houses for poor households, policy families, and households with housing difficulties according to Directive 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Immediately after the launch, Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa City, together with officials and civil servants of the City Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations, wards and villages participated in contributing and supporting nearly 154 million VND. 16 agencies and enterprises located in the city also presented support signs worth nearly 2.4 billion VND.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa City Le Anh Xuan emphasized: 2025 is a year of many major and important events. Therefore, the city, wards, communes, streets and villages need to simultaneously carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security with the successful organization of party congresses at all levels and streamlining the apparatus and staff in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee.

Along with that, agencies, units, departments and offices need to make efforts to complete 41 targets of 2025, in which special attention should be paid to 5 important targets: state budget collection; site clearance; building model wards and communes, advanced new rural communes, model new rural communes; disbursement of public investment capital and digital transformation.

For streets and villages, it is necessary to seriously, effectively, substantially and with a focus on Conclusion No. 796-KL/TU of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on "Improving the quality of life of Party cells in streets and villages of Thanh Hoa City in the period of 2023-2028". At the same time, focus on implementing a number of key tasks on urban order, mobilizing people to donate land for road construction, ensuring security and order to build an increasingly civilized city; complete the arrangement of positions in streets and villages according to Resolution No. 31/2024/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council before April 30.

The Party cell secretaries of the streets and villages mobilized cadres, party members and people to actively contribute ideas to the documents of the party congresses at all levels to ensure quality and effectiveness.

In order for people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet safely, wards and communes are requested to review and develop specific plans to ensure security and order, prevent fires and explosions; propagate and mobilize people to strictly comply with the city's plan, especially the prohibition of setting off firecrackers and releasing sky lanterns and effectively handle any problems that arise in the area.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in residential group activities in 2024; in implementing Directive 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on building houses for poor households, policy families, and households with housing difficulties (phase 1); in organizing the celebration of the 220th anniversary of the provincial capital, the 30th anniversary of the city's establishment, and the 10th anniversary of the class I urban area were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City People's Committee.
