The delegation was led by Mr. Dinh Van Bao - Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Giang District Party Committee; members were representatives of relevant departments, offices, units and communes and towns. The delegation also included 85 households in the area participating in the project of linking deer farming according to the value chain associated with product consumption.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Bao - Deputy Head of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Dong Giang district said that on December 23, the delegation visited the model of growing grass for goat and deer feed in the locality. During this trip, the delegation will work with the People's Council - People's Committee of Huong Son district to learn about local experience in production organization, operation methods, linkage models between people and businesses in production, processing, consumption, and output markets for spotted deer products.

Besides, exchanging experiences, learning about the mechanisms and policies of Ha Tinh province and Huong Son district on developing sika deer.

Mr. A Vo To Phuong - Chairman of Dong Giang District People's Committee shared that, implementing national target programs for the period 2021 - 2025, in October 2023, Dong Giang district visited and learned experiences in organizing and implementing projects to link production development according to the value chain in Ha Tinh.

Since then, in 2023 and 2024, Dong Giang has implemented projects to raise spotted deer for antlers, initially achieving some positive results. This is a model that can be replicated to contribute to poverty reduction and increase income for people.
