Comrade Ngo Dong Hai holds the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department.

On the afternoon of November 22, the Central Propaganda Department held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work. Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department chaired and presented the decision.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, on behalf of the Politburo, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate comrade Ngo Dong Hai.

At the Conference, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia presented the Politburo's decision to transfer, assign, and appoint Party Central Committee member, Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee Secretary Ngo Dong Hai to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda Department.

Congratulating comrade Ngo Dong Hai on his new position as Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that the conference to present the Politburo's decision took place in the context that the Central Propaganda Department as well as the Party's agencies and the Party's political system are entering a new phase, as General Secretary To Lam emphasized, a new era, an era of national growth with increasingly high requirements. The entire political system has focused on striving and breaking through to achieve and exceed the goals of the 13th National Party Congress, while focusing on summarizing 40 years of theory and practice on socialism, and at the same time participating with departments, ministries and branches to prepare for the documents of the 14th National Party Congress; solving many new tasks of the Party and the State.

Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia assessed comrade Ngo Dong Hai as a cadre with very basic training, matured from practical experience in the locality and the Central. In any working position, comrade Ngo Dong Hai always demonstrated his stance, steadfastness, firmness, working style and methods, especially the sense of responsibility of a leader, to gather and unite the collective.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department asked Comrade Ngo Dong Hai to promote his practical work experience, quickly approach new work areas, and together with the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Central Propaganda Department, strive to fulfill well the political tasks assigned by the Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat.

Expressing his honor at receiving the decision of the Politburo to transfer, assign and appoint him as Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, comrade Ngo Dong Hai affirmed that this is an honor and a special milestone in his personal efforts and work.

Emphasizing that the functions and tasks of the Central Propaganda Department are extremely important and heavy, especially in the current period, the new Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Ngo Dong Hai, affirmed that he will make every effort, try his best, quickly study and approach the functions, tasks and programs and plans of the Department, comply with the leadership of the Head of the Department as well as the assignment of the Department's leadership, together with the departments, units and cadres, civil servants and employees of the Department to complete the assigned tasks as well as the common tasks of the Department.

Comrade Ngo Dong Hai was born on October 25, 1970, in Phuoc Hung commune, Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province. He has a PhD in Electronics and Telecommunications and a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Comrade Ngo Dong Hai has held the following positions: Secretary of Hoai An District Party Committee; Secretary of An Nhon Town Party Committee; Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee (term 2011-2016).

In March 2016, comrade Ngo Dong Hai was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.

In September 2018, the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat issued a decision on the rotation and arrangement of cadres, appointing comrade Ngo Dong Hai, alternate member of the 12th Party Central Committee for the 2015-2020 term, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.

From June 2020 to January 2021, comrade Ngo Dong Hai was an alternate member of the 12th Party Central Committee; Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee.

From January 2021 until being mobilized, assigned and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department (November 2024), comrade Ngo Dong Hai was a member of the 13th Party Central Committee; Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee; a delegate of the 15th National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thai Binh province, Head of the Party Cell (from July 2021)./.
