Comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh holds the position of Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee

NDO - On the afternoon of November 2, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work. Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission chaired the conference.

At the conference, comrade Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Organizing Committee, announced Decision No. 1617-QDNS/TW dated October 25, 2024 of the Politburo on mobilizing, assigning and appointing comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the Politburo's decision and presented flowers to congratulate comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh.

At the conference, comrade Le Minh Hung affirmed that comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh has received basic training, is a capable and experienced cadre, always excellently completes assigned tasks, and is trusted by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

In his congratulatory speech and assignment of tasks to the new Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh, comrade Le Minh Hung emphasized: Khanh Hoa is a locality with a rich revolutionary tradition; recently, it has had impressive socio-economic development. Taking on the new task as Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh quickly grasped the work, together with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the collective leadership of the province to lead and direct the promotion of solidarity within the entire Party Committee, building a prosperous and civilized Khanh Hoa province.

Comrade Le Minh Hung requested comrades in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, support and assistance to comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh in his position as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 18th Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for entrusting him with the important responsibility of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary; promised to make every effort to promote the achievements of the locality; strive to fulfill the assigned tasks; together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee, promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, and continue to successfully implement the development goals of Khanh Hoa province.

Previously, comrade Nguyen Hai Ninh, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Minister of Justice.

Comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh was born in 1969; hometown Vinh Phuc; is a Doctor of Economics, has held many important positions in the banking industry.

In July 2020, he held the position of Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Enterprise Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.

In January 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, he was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

In July 2021, he was mobilized, assigned and appointed by the Politburo to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee.
