Synchronizing new rural infrastructure

Infrastructure is a condition for developing production, improving people's lives, raising people's knowledge and creating a basis for planning in the new rural construction program. Accordingly, Quang Ninh has focused resources on building rural infrastructure to gradually meet the production and living requirements of the people.

In order for all people to enjoy the fruits of development, with resources from the province and locality, Ba Che district has focused on investing, building and putting into use many traffic infrastructure works, helping to improve the quality of people's lives and narrow the gap between regions.

After 1 year of construction, in June 2023, the project to upgrade and prevent flooding of the road from Provincial Road 330 to Provincial Road 342 through Dong Dam village (Dap Thanh commune), Khe Na village (Thanh Son commune) and Lang Cang village (Don Dac commune) of Ba Che district was completed and put into use.

It is known that at Khe Na bridge, one of the locations upgraded to prevent flooding is located on the main road connecting the district center with the highland communes of Thanh Son, Minh Cam and Luong Mong. Previously, during the rainy season, flooding occurred, hindering people's daily activities and travel. When the road was upgraded, people were very excited, because not only was traveling more convenient, but the consumption of planted forest wood was also easier.

In recent times, Ba Che has completed the traffic system connecting the district to localities, such as: Routes 330, 342, 330B, 329 and the route from the town to Minh Cam commune parallel to provincial road 330.

Traffic connecting from the district center to communes and villages is 100% concreted, upgrading flood avoidance routes in the town center, provincial road 329, upgrading flooded areas on road 330. Ba Che also focuses on building reservoirs to provide clean water and irrigation for people such as Khe Muoi reservoir (Don Dac commune), Khe Long reservoir (Thanh Son commune)...

The Khe Muoi Reservoir Clean Water Treatment Plant (Khe Sau village, Nam Son commune, Ba Che district) ensures clean water supply for nearly 600 households.

Over the past 4 years, the province has invested in and basically completed projects connecting ethnic minority areas such as renovating and upgrading provincial road 342, the section in Ba Che district and 6 dynamic traffic infrastructure projects in ethnic minority, mountainous, border and island areas.

By the end of August, the province had completed 13/15 key traffic projects, connecting ethnic minority, mountainous, border and island areas with capital from the overall program for ethnic minority areas. Typical examples include traffic routes connecting the center of Dai Duc commune to the center of the old Dai Thanh commune (Tien Yen district); from the district center to Quang An commune (Dam Ha district); from National Highway 18 to the center of Quang Son commune (Hai Ha district); from the Ha Long - Van Don expressway overpass intersection (Trai Me village, Son Duong commune) to Dong Tra village, Dong Lam commune, Ha Long city (provincial road 342); from village 3, Quang Thinh commune to Quang Chinh commune (Hai Ha district); from National Highway 18 through Quang Lam commune to San Cay Cooc village, Quang Son commune (Hai Ha district); from the district center to Quang Lam commune (Dam Ha district); Completed Bang Quang spillway (Don Dac commune, Ba Che district)...

Many households in Duong Hoa commune (Hai Ha district) voluntarily donated land and assets on land to build roads.

With the motto "The State and the people work together", localities also focus on integrating propaganda content on policies and guidelines for building new rural areas into district and commune level conferences; launching emulation movements associated with criteria for building rural transport; mobilizing people to contribute working days, donate land for road construction... Every year, review and evaluate the current situation and needs to allocate counterpart funds appropriately. In particular, priority is given to allocating capital to build urgent transport works, especially key routes and transport infrastructure in disadvantaged communes.
