In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of Ga Ry Border Guard Station focused on leading the successful implementation of key political tasks. The unit organized 49 patrols to protect the border and national border markers (from marker 691 to 702) with the participation of 1,348 officers and soldiers; coordinated 12 bilateral patrols with the Lao border guard force; handled 43 cases/149 law violators, and collected more than 90 million VND for the budget.
Ga Ry Border Guard Station stepped up administrative control and immigration procedures for more than 16,789 people. In addition, it coordinated the organization of 234 legal dissemination sessions for more than 35,000 people, and maintained 17 border self-management groups with 1,051 households participating.
Social security activities were focused on with a total implementation value of more than 8 billion VND, including building 16 charity houses, supporting more than 3,500 gifts and donating 62 tons of rice to people on both sides of the border... The models "Helping children go to school" and "Adopted children of border guards" continued to be maintained effectively.
In the coming term, the Party Committee of Ga Ry Border Guard Station has identified 10 main targets. Among them, striving for 100% of party members to complete their tasks, admitting 1-2 new party members each year; ensuring the safety of the 27.33km long border system with 12 landmarks; building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" unit.
The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee of Ga Ry Border Guard Station for the 2025-2030 term; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phuc Truong - Political Commissar of Ga Ry Border Guard Station was elected to continue to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary.
